Weichai Power （Weifang）Remanufacturing Company was established in April 21st, 2008, and is the first batch of one of the 14 automotive components remanufacturing enterprises confirmed by National Development and Reform Commission. The company was established by Weichai Power Co., Ltd, and it is a subsidiary of Weichai Power. The company is engaged in the engine and parts remanufacturing business, the plant area covers 27090 square meters, invest 260 million RMB. There are about 200 employees in Weichai Reman Company, the company was located in Weichai industrial park, High-tech Zone of Weifang.
The company is dedicated to development of recycling economy and establishment of energy-saving and friendly environment society of China. Relying on the huge social ownership of Weichai Power, and depended on the perfect purchase channels and marketing network of Weichai Power,he company supported remanufacturing products with new engine quality standard and service level, and to realize the purposes of implementing marketing strategy and aftermarket service strategy of Weichai Power Co., Ltd, and made the remanufacturing business became new profit growth point of Weichai Power.
The company remanufactured all series of diesel engine and components manufactured by Weichai Power. The designed production capacity in first phase is 20,000 remanufactured engines per year. That will save 13,500 tons metal each year, and reduce emission of carbon dioxide about 9,180 tons, and add 800 work opportunities.
Depending engine product technology platform of Weichai Power, production process of company included engine disassembling, cleaning, detecting and classification, remanufacturing to repair, assembly, performance test, spraying, packing and other processes, and covered research and development of remanufacturing product, sophisticated detection, warehousing and logistics, and other factors.
1.In may of 2007, WRC and SRC signed a consulting agreement. By bring in full set of remanufacturing technical documents, field training and on-site guidance, the advanced manufacturing concepts has been comprehensively introduced.
2.Weichai Reman is authorized by the Chinese Government as one of the 14 companies in China who has the right to operate reman business.
3.Weichai Reman was established in April, 2008 and total investment of the project is almost 300 million RMB.
4.In March 2009, the new plant is put into use and remanufactured engines began to be made in large quantities.
5.In Dec, 2009, Weichai Reman obtained quality management, environment management and occupation health safety management certificates.
6.On Nov. 30th, 2010, Weichai Reman obtained high&new technology enterprise certificate.
