On May 23, Weichai and its Malaysian exclusive OEM agent made a stunning appearance at the 2016 6th ASEAN M&E Show. In full support of Weichai, the booth scale of Malaysian OEM agent was twice as big as the previous one. The WP12 and 6M26 presented were locally assembled open generator sets, with power of 320kVA and 500kVA. The two exhibition engines were dressed in "industrial green", highlighting Weichai’s "green, environmentally friendly, and reliable" quality. The design style of the booth showed the "POWERED BY WEICHAI" theme everywhere.
During the exhibition, Weichai joined the OEM for a new product launch conference to the release the new 12M33 engine with power up to 1250kVA, which marked that Weichai formally entered Malaysian high-end high-power gen-set market.
