On February 28, Dr. Zhang Jinwang, COO of Shandong Claas Jinyee Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd., visited Weichai and learnt about Weichai's agricultural product layout. Chairman Tan Xuguang met with Dr. Zhang, and the two sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in 2016 for jointly promoting the upgrading of China's agricultural machinery.
In recent years, Weichai intensified the development of agricultural engines and had formed a full range of products for all specific applications, such as small, medium and large agricultural tractors, corn harvesters, wheat harvesters, and silage machines. On October 24, 2015, Weichai held the launching ceremony of "full range of products for all applications" agricultural equipment engines. WP3.2, WP4.1, WP4 / 6, WP7, WP10, WP12 and WP13 series engines that fully meet the off-road Stage III emission regulations all debuted at the ceremony.
Weichai engines are strong in reliability, power, comfort, and fuel consumption. Based on the special conditions for agricultural products, Weichai specially launched the dust filter, multi-pwer fuel-efficient switch, fuel system protector, independently developed ECU and other proprietary technologies to provide strong protection for the engines.
