As Pakistan becomes a new market for Weichai, the company has located a office in Karachi, Pakistan's largest and busiest commercial city.
After much market exploration, Weichai engines have already gained good reputation at Karachi fishing pier. On New Year's Day of 2016, the 2015 Weichai marine engine promotion was successfully held in Pakistan. Local shipyard bosses, ship owners, captains, mechanicians and crews were invited and had heated interaction. The local dealers even printed the engine description in Urdu for customers to read. The flying flags with Weichai logos at the four flagpoles onthe ship left a deep impression to the crews on the other vessels at the pier.
