On the afternoon of May 1, Weichai Group held a commendation conference to celebrate the May 1st International Labor Day in its industrial park, commending individuals and collectives such as the "Top Ten Weichai Craftsmen", Weichai Model Workers, and advanced departments in 2021.
At the conference, Wang Shujun, "National Model Worker", "Craftsman of the Country", "The Most Beautiful Worker", and Tang Haiwei, winner of "National May 1st Labor Medal" and "Great Craftsman in Shandong" made reports on their experiences and shared their stories in Weichai.
Tan Xuguang, who has won the title of "National Model Worker" twice, looked back on Weichai's 76 years of magnificent development history and was full of emotion. He said affectionately:
Our industrial workers have inherited the spirit of Weichai from generation to generation. We are not afraid to stand up and to win the war. We have used our time and efforts to nourish thousands of families in Weichai.
Our research workers, represented by our heroic extreme-condition test team, shoulder the mission that science and technology are productive forces, and help our technological achievements go to the market and climb to the top of the world.
Generations of Weichai people must keep in mind the General Secretary's entrustment, focus on the main business, keep in mind "glorious labor creates greatness", and build a beautiful home of Weichai together.
