The company was established in 1961 at Zhu Zhou, Hunan province and was listed in Shenzhen in 1993. In 2005, Weichai absorbed and merged with Torch. Due to the company’s strategic development needs, the company changes to Weichai Torch Technology Co., Ltd in 2021. Now, the company is a holding subsidiary of Weichai with an independent legal personality.
